More than a logo on a shirt.

We couldn’t be prouder to see the Ellerslie AFC Women’s kit out in the wild, and prouder still to stand behind this group as their principal sponsors.

Why we’re in

Win or lose. Rain or shine. Injured or fit.

(usually rain, tbh)

At Five, we choose partnerships deliberately. This one is about so much more than a logo on a shirt. For us, this is about backing a team and a club that reflects the things we care deeply about: community, inclusion, development, and creating real pathways for women in sport.

What stands out to us at Ellerslie AFC is the environment that’s deliberately crafted around the team. There’s a clear focus on coaching, continuous improvement, and building the kind of resilience and grit that carries well beyond the pitch. These wāhine show up for each other, for their club, and for the next generation coming through, day in, day out.

The kit

Their culture, in action.

This new kit’s a great example of their culture in action. A player-led design, shaped by what the team wanted to feel comfortable in, proud to wear, and confident to be seen in. That matters.

When athletes feel like themselves, they perform like themselves.

Hannah Barclay in the purple Ellerslie AFC Women strip at the kit launch — Revealed to the team by **Hannah Barclay**: 2025 Sportsperson of the Year, Women’s Reserves Golden Boot winner, and the person who leads the club’s junior coaching programme and coaches its youth teams. She sets the standard through her work ethic: calm under pressure, generous, talented. A brilliant example of what this club is building.
