Pendo software experience review
A fixed-scope diagnostic that works out what people do inside your software and whether Pendo suits the job. Two to three weeks, fixed fee.
Why you'd want this
You're probably here for one of two reasons. Either you've got a product or a platform you suspect is half-used and you'd like to know for certain, or somebody has put a proposal in front of you for a platform that promises visibility and you can't yet tell whether it'll fix anything.
Both come down to the same two questions. What's actually happening in there, and will this tool change it? We answer those in two to three weeks for a fixed fee, and we agree the measures while we're there, because putting instrumentation into a product with no baseline underneath it gives you a clearer view of the same problem and little else. If Pendo turns out to be wrong for what you're doing, we'll tell you that too.
Where we support
Two to three weeks, a fixed fee, and a findings pack written so your executive team can read it without you in the room.
- We use your words: We sit with the people using the software and write down how they describe the problem, because that's the wording that gets a leadership team to recognise its own organisation.
- Outcomes and measures, agreed up front: A handful of outcomes with a measure against each one that you can actually collect.
- The current state, with the steps counted: We walk the real journey people take, count the steps, and write down where they give up.
- The constraints that bind: Where your data is allowed to live, what your security team will wear, what engineering can support, and what your privacy obligations mean for tracking at the session level, and it's much cheaper to find these in week two than in month six.
- A scoped recommendation with the risks in it: Deliverables, hours and an investment range, with our own dependencies and assumptions written down where you can see them.
How it will benefit you
- A straight answer, including no: We don't make margin on your licences, so we've no reason to talk you into one.
- You find out before you commit: Two to three weeks at a fixed fee is a small bet next to the cost of a build nobody ends up using.
- A baseline you can be measured against: Once the measures exist, the question of whether the investment worked has an answer you can look up.
- A plan with an order to it: What to do first, what to leave, and what needs to change in how you work as well as in the tool.
- Something you can hand upwards: The findings pack is written for people who weren't in the room, which is usually the group holding the budget.
